Arezou Rezvani is currently an editorial assistant for NPR’s Morning Edition. She recently graduated from the USC Annenberg Graduate School of Journalism as a Dean’s Scholar, where she conducted research for the book Real-Time Diplomacy authored by Center on Public Diplomacy director Philip Seib. During her time at Annenberg she also served as a project associate at the Knight Digital Media Center, an organization that provides New Media training for journalists at all levels.
Previously, she was the researcher and outreach coordinator for the Emmy Award-winning documentary film company Promises Films, where she developed an educational outreach campaign around Our Summer In Tehran, a documentary that touches on themes of cultural diplomacy, interfaith dialogue and US-Iran/US-Muslim relations.
Her work, which has appeared on CNN International, The Times of India, American Public Media’s Marketplace, OnBeing.org and NBC Los Angeles, often explores themes related to religion, business and foreign affairs. She has reported from Turkey and India and will be reporting from Cuba this summer.
She speaks Persian and French.
